I can't believe how much January has been cramming in recently; new films, magazine covers and chat shows. Now January has been announced as the host of this coming Saturday Night Live! Also January appeared on Jimmy Fallon this Tuesday just gone. She was so cute. I loved the interview, although it was quite short. She played Beer Pong with Jimmy and lost. You just have to watch the video:

Lead Role in Another New Movie |

Oh my gosh, JJS is the first January fansite to inform you that there are very exciting rumours that January has been cast in yet another new movie! The film is called The Hungry Rabbit Jumps. Very bizarre title. It is a thriller starring Nicolas Cage. She will play the lead female character. The film centers on a man (Cage) who, after a crime is perpetrated on his wife, gets more than he bargained for when he enlists a vigilante group to help him settle the score. January will play the wife. "It's a very meaty role," Producer James Stern said, "not just reactive, but active." Shooting will begin early December, giving January enough of a window before the late-January start of "Unknown White Male." We will keep you all updated on any further news and gossip on the film!

New Movie Announced |

Quick update to be the first January fansite to inform you of the very exciting news that January has been cast in a new movie. The film is called Unknown White Male. It is an upcoming Liam Neeson action / thriller about a doctor who awakens from a coma to find that someone else has assumed his identity and no one, including his wife, believes him. With the help of a young woman, he sets out to prove who he is.
January and Diane Kruger have joined the cast. January is set to play Neeson’s wife who is caught up in a conspiracy regarding her husband.
We will keep you all posted on any further news and gossip on the film!

Well the GQ shoots has caused quite a stir. The interview is fairly candid and controversal, where January is portrayed as drinking alcohol, talking about football and famous ex-boyfriends. Everyone is saying it's very 'un-Betty like'.

January is on top form at the moment. Everything is going well for her. She has been working hard for Oceana. She's currently on our screens with the new season of Mad Men. And now she is set to feature on the front cover of US GQ Magazine, the November 2009 issue! Exciting times for us Janny fans!
I'm not too sure about the shoot myself but she definately looks foxy. It's just a very 'Men's mag' shoot. But the interview is so facinating. I've never heard January speaking in such a relaxed manner before, while drinking beer! It brings out a whole different side to her character and she shows a lot of her humourous side. She even finally discusses her relationship with Ashton Kutcher and reveals fun moments while filming Anger Management & Love Actually.
“There have been so many moments in my life where I was just like, That’s it, I’m going home,” -talking about acting.

Shark Act/ Mad Men Stills / More Variety Power of Women Luncheon |

January has been a busy little bee over the past few days. She has been working hard for her charity Oceana. On the 29th Sept, she went to the Channel 7 ABC News offices in Washington, D.C. She was in town to urge Congress to pass the Shark Conservation Act. The act hopes to protect sharks from the practice of shark finning.
And the next day our January met up with Sen. John McCain to pass the Shark Conservation Act at his office on Capitol Hill, in Washington, D.C. John McCain wrote about his meeting on his twitter page: "Great meeting and tour of the Capitol with January Jones, who is an advocate for sharks. I’m a huge fan of Mad Men!”
She also popped along to the Nascar Sprint Cup Series Price Chopper 400 at the Kansas Sppedway on the 4th October. She made an appearance on stage and met some of the drivers such as Jeff Gordon and Dale Earnhardt Jr.

January at Variety's 1st Annual Power of Women Luncheon |

January attended Variety's 1st Annual Power of Women Luncheon yesterday. It was held at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel in Beverly Hills. JJS is really proud of our lady. She was made an honoree member for her work as spokesperson for Oceana, Scared for Sharks campaign. She was pictured with the likes of actresses Christina Applegate, Maria Bello, Anne Hathaway and Sigourney Weaver. She also posed for a few snaps with singer Christina Aguilera, who she appeared to get on quite well with. See how much taller January looks against Christina!

January at The Emmys! / & January on Oprah Tonight |

January attended the 61st annual Emmy awards held at the Nokia Theatre on September 20, 2009 in Los Angeles, California. She attended with her Mad Men cast. She was pictured mingling with celebrities such as Hayden Panettiere and Sigourney Weaver. She was also snapped with a mystery man! Does anyone know who he is? If so send us in an email. She didn't appear to be with Tommy Alastra.
Now onto the hot topic, January's dress! As usual, she made a daring choice. It was a Atelier Versace gown. From afar, I think the dress looked beautiful. I especially love the floaty skirt. But I'm not too keen on the bodice, when you see it close up. It has got mixed reviews already, as you'd expect with our January!
Congrats to January & the cast of Mad Men. It won 6 Emmy's, including Outstanding Drama series! Also there is a short clip of January & Jon Hamm appearing on the Oprah talk show tonight on Oprah's official site. Don't miss it!:
