The last scene of the last season, where Betty is comforting Sally -- that really warms your heart that Sally came to Betty when she got her period. I thought that was really very sweet... And it was fun for us to actually get to be nice to one another!"
(On Xander) "I have a really sweet boy. He's got a really good heart, so maybe he'll be nice to me".
"One of the things that I do relate to with Betty is when someone says something, she sometimes goes the other way".

January New York Times Interview
January was recently interviewed by New York Times. At first JJS was excited to read a new interview but unfortunately we found it to be very negative and critical of January. It discusses a lot of gossip about Januarys personal life, which she wishes to keep private.
Here are the only decent quotes from the interview:

"Women should have lots of secrets. Its our right to have secrets. Otherwise, what would we write in our memoirs?"

January at the Met Gala / Sweetwater Trailer
January attended the Costume Institute Gala for the "PUNK: Chaos to Couture" exhibition at the Metropolitan Museum of Art on May 6, 2013 in New York City. She wore a Chanel Spring/Summer 2009 Haute Couture Collection dress and Nicholas Kirkwood heels with dramatic makeup.

New Events / January on Jimmy Fallon
January has been a busy bee over the past few days. She has attended 3 different events. Yesterday she attended the 92Y Talks with Matthew Weiner panel held at Kaufman Concert Hall in New York City. She wore a silver sequin jacket by IRO.
January also attended a presentation for Mad Men at The Paley Center for Media on Tuesday (April 23) in New York City. She wore a Zara blouse, Textile by Elizabeth and James jacket, Helmet Lang pants, Christian Louboutin shoes, Marni bag, and IDC earrings.
She also went to the BAFTA panel and reception for Mad Men held at the Harvard Club on Monday (April 22) in New York City. She wore a Versace leather jacket, Parker skirt, and Miu Miu shoes .
She also appeared on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon on the 22nd April. She wore a simple Parker top, Jbrand leather pants, and Dolce&Gabbana shoes.

Coach's Charity Evening of Cocktails and Shopping / Sweetwater Stills & DVD Cover
January attended Coach's Charity Evening of Cocktails and Shopping. It was held on Wednesday (April 10) at the Bad Robot Headquarters in Santa Monica, Calif. The evening benefitted the Childrens Defense Fund and January mixed with the likes of Orlando Bloom, Katy Perry and Milla Jovovich.
She wore a pretty spring dress by Sam & Lavi, a Givenchy coat and Coach shoes and handbag. She made the Best Dressed with Vogue and Instyle! It's one of JJS favourite looks from recent times.

Also January spoke about the fashion critism she sometimes recieves, saying 'it makes me laugh'. "I think that fashion is an art. It's a fun way to express yourself. ... And I sort of like not pleasing people a bit."

Yay, the wait is finally over as Mad Men Season 6 hits our TV screens tonight! To celebrate, JJS has added another stunning new Mad Men Season 6 promo:

January has also been giving a few interviews to promote the new season of Mad Men. She gave a indepth interview with hitfix.com where she spoke about Betty's transformation:
John Slattery, spoke about January: "She has a way of making it look like it's all really happening in real time while we're shooting it and it's sorta wild to watch".
"I work on instinct, but I'm a good reader and I can memorize things by looking at them once...it just comes from a very organic, instinctual place. That's just what I know and what I've learned that I'm good at. If I have a lot of time to think about something and break it down and "Would she do this? Would she do that?" then it just becomes too jumbled in my head and I just don't feel that it's real."
(On Jon Hamm) "We're at a point in our relationship now where we're not extremely sensitive and we just say it like it is, which is a nice place to be. So I felt like I trusted my surroundings and what he was doing and I thought he did a really good job."
(On Kiernan Shipka) "She has very wonderful parents and she's very grounded and extremely smart and I think she has a long career ahead of her and I feel very proud to think that I had a part in that."
(On the end of Mad Men) "It'll be very sad, but I don't want to think about that yet!" Source
Also Kiernan Shipka briefly spoke about her TV mom in an interview with eonline. She described the show's cast as a "family," and said that she talks about style with January "a lot." Source
